Travel Chapter shortlisted at The Amazon Growing Business Awards
The Travel Chapter has once again been shortlisted for the prestigious Amazon Growing Business Awards, the UK’s longest established awards for recognising SME and entrepreneurial success.
After being shortlisted in 2016 for the Consumer Brand of the Year for its flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk, this year the Travel Chapter will be up against brands such as Little Dish, Reassured and Telensa in the Growing Business of the Year Category.
With a strong foundation in North Devon, the company has grown continuously during its 30-year history and retains the same family ethos now as it had on day one.
Since going national in 2014 the business has shown exponential growth and now offers customers a wide choice of over 3,600 properties in the UK, as well as accommodation all around the world.
Based out of their Bideford headquarters, the company now employs over 200 members of staff across the country and a multitude of disciplines, including marketing, property management, reservations, finance and new business.
CEO James Morris said: “It’s testament to the hard work of all the team that we’ve been shortlisted for these awards for a second year running.
Since bringing all of our resource in-house the growth has been fantastic and now with over 16 brands and growing we’re continuing through an extremely exciting and enjoyable phase of our journey.
It’s fantastic for the business to be recognised and whether we win the final award or not, for us to have been shortlisted from the hundreds of entries remains a fantastic achievement.”
The final of the awards will be held at The Brewery in London on 29th November 2017. For a full list of finalists and more details please visit the following link: http://gba.realbusiness.co.uk/
